Wisconsin Pharmacal Online Store - Company Info
Pharmacal has grown by leaps and bounds and is no longer a pharmacy co-op retailer but the leading manufacturer of brands in the outdoor recreation and safety markets. Through a philosophy of product innovation and acquisition, Pharmacal has undergone multiple plant expansions at its headquarters in Jackson, Wisconsin.
CEO John Wundrock bought Wisconsin Pharmacal in the early 1970s as a young entrepreneur. After moving the company to Jackson, growing it to over $20 million in sales, and then selling it to a private equity group in 1996, John repurchased Wisconsin Pharmacal in June, 2003. He returned as CEO with a new management team eager to grow and innovate.
Potable Aqua® Water Purification Tablets, Sting-Eze® Insect Bite Relief Products, Atwater Carey® First Aid Kits and BaitMate® Fish Attractants are well-known company brands. The company is also the official licensee of Coleman Insect Repellents, as well as a contract manufacturer for a growing number of consumer products.
Although Wisconsin Pharmacal products can be found at retail giants, the company has kept its belief in a warm, personal touch and is proud of its reputation as "a good place to do business."
